Everyone is a changemaker. There is no superhero, no enlightened government, NGO or institution that alone can change the world for better. We need each and every one of us to take a step and together we can make a difference.
The workshop led by from Anna KSIAZEK and Andrea PUCCI from ExChange the World will be an interactive one, in the form of a special game, during which participants will discover different ideas for social projects and social businesses from all over the world and will have a chance to discuss what changemaking means to them. It's focused on examples of interesting changemaking initiatives, chosen among 350 stories they have collected so far.
During the workshop, the participants will find out about the key changemaker skills, such as communication, teamwork, mindfulness, empathy, and how to apply them while planning a social project. The workshop will take around 2 hours.

Speakers' bio:
Anna and Andrea are a couple traveling around the world gathering and sharing their knowledge on changemaking, education, women empowerment. Their expedition, called ExChange the World, started in September 2015 from South-East Asia and covered so far (as of 2021) 38 countries from most of Europe, South America and South Asia. Along the way they interviewed more than 350 changemakers and volunteered in 30+ projects. They tell their stories through presentations, workshops, courses and writing educational scenarios.
The event is part of the CONNECT, Community for Timisoara project, organized by Helixconnect Europe and FABER, and supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
